Support the showWhat's covered, perhaps the least, but actually affects us the most. As such famously said, it's the economy's stupid. We're covering what's really going on and how to protect yourself today, but first we're talking to author Tim Rivers, who is determined to keep the January 6 political prisoners in the news. It's Wednesday, November 15th. I'm John Scott filling in for my wife Kristie Lee, and this is the Counter Narrative. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Now I'm on the right side. Starting today with a few of the latest news headlines. It's still about a year away, but the race for President 2024 continues to be a hot topic. Tim Scott is out, says he will not endorse anyone. Meanwhile, nikki doubles down from WFMY News. Nikki Haley will launch a $10 million ad campaign to try to overtake Ron DeSantis and the GOP primaries. Man, I'm kind of tired of hearing about Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis, to be honest with you, considering how much Trump has kind of going on. But I got to read this regardless because it's set up for me. It begins the first week of December. Haley's planned investment as of now is more than five times larger than the Sanctis's current advertising reserves for the same time period. According to the media tracking firm ad impact, haley's moves comes as she fights to emerge as the clear alternative to former President Donald Trump. Notice that keyword there the clear alternative. I don't know how clear it is, but to represent the GOP against President Joe Biden next fall. The Sanctis stands as Haley's strongest competition for her party's second place slot. Although the Florida governor's campaign has shown signs of financial strain following a tumultuous summer, pretty incredible to form a president such a strong lead despite the opposition. Honestly, I don't even really think it's incredible anymore. I think it really comes down to Trump versus Biden. But we'll move on here. Trump gagged now by Jack Smith's request for the trial not to be televised. Julie Kelly posted this on Twitter. Thinskin Jack Smith asked Chuck Kintu ban Trump from calling him names on true socials. She obliged. Now he's afraid Trump will condemn Smith's prosecution as a political witch hunt during any televised trial. Defund Jack Smith, maybe. It's clear the GOP is split and many are calling on the leader of the RNC to retire her relationship with the regime. Media Should be reason enough. Watch this softball interview on Meet the Press Chairwoman.
Speaker 3:McDaniel, welcome back to Meet the Press. Thank you for being here. Thank you for having me. Great to be with you, really appreciate it. Let's talk about Tuesday night. Let's talk big picture. Republicans say that they had a tough night on Tuesday. Obviously losses in Ohio, virginia, kentucky. What do you say to Republicans who say you bear some responsibility for that and you're not the right person for this moment?
Speaker 4:Well, I'm proud of the RNC and I stand by what the RNC is doing and some people don't understand what we do. We're a turnout machine and actually it's going to look like more Republicans turned out in Virginia than Democrats. We actually turned out more Republicans than Democrats in Kentucky. We're not the messaging that comes from the candidate and that's up to them. But I'm very proud of our minority outreach at the RNC is doing the 70 lawsuits we're in right now in election integrity and our banker vote initiative and I think it's instrumental in how we're going to win back the Senate when the White House and keep the House in 2024.
Speaker 3:Thank you so much for having us. It was an honor to co moderate that debate. We really appreciate it. Rhonda McDaniel, thanks for being.
Speaker 1:Wow spoke like a true Romney right there. I don't know why they didn't include that name in the middle. Give a tip of the hat to her uncle. In other news, representative Marjorie Taylor Green just held a hearing on Capitol Hill about COVID vaccine injury While it got next to no coverage. The DOG seems forced, the DOJ seems forced, to take notice. Backer news the DOJ is preparing for surge of COVID vaccine lawsuits from people claiming injury from the jab. Miranda Devine of the New York Post uncovered a new new jobs ad that indicates the Biden administration is searching for eight new attorneys to defend the federal government in vaccine injury cases. The office is currently expanding to address workload created by an increase in cases filed under the vaccine act, says the ad posted by the Torz branch of the DOJ on the USA Jobs website. That ad was also posted or linked in. Devine references that the recruitment drive comes on the heels of a little notice lawsuit filed in Louisiana last month by six vaccine injured plaintiffs against the federal government. The suit aims to overturn the legal immunity that pharmaceutical giants like Pfizer and Moderna enjoy on their COVID shots. But the DOJ is still focused on rounding up January 6 protesters. Tim Rivers has been an advocate of the J6ers since the beginning. He's the author of the American Gulag Chronicles, a retired IT engineer, fortune 100 executive and writer. In 2021, he began writing letters of support to January 6 prisoners and documenting their stories and their messages to supporters in America. Together with Marie Goodwin, j6 mother and activist, they created J6 Patriot News, telling America up to date information about the state and mistreatment of these patriots and how they could help them. In 2022, he founded the American Gulag Chronicles and began publishing the letters, art and stories of America's new political prisoners to the public. Thanks for joining me, tim.
Speaker 5:Yeah, it's kind of weird for us to be. We're so tightly focused on J6. Every now and then we lift up our heads and we look around at the political landscape and go, holy cow, right, there's so much happening now. There's so much being revealed that I think that the narrative about January 6 is being rewritten. I tell everybody, I kind of feel like we are erasing a history of lies that has been perpetrated by the American people for almost three years. People have swallowed it whole.
Speaker 1:Well, I'll tell you that was something that always stuck out to me. Tim is I remember who prepared that. What was it? The one impeachment trial for Trump? What was it Like? An NBC producer that actually produced all that. They had to professionally produce it to put it forth there to the people, and people have felt for that. In that sense, it's been Hollywood for them.
Speaker 5:Look at the J6 committee and it's just been pure Hollywood. But at the same time, like so many people, I started working around in election integrity. Right after the elections I mean, like in December we were knocking on doors and trying to verify voter rolls here in Pasco County, Florida, and the things that we were finding were just like no, that can't be right. Your daughter voted here, but she lives in three counties over. Or you have three brothers who are on the rolls but they don't even live in the state anymore. Everything was all screwed up, and so it was very easy for me to understand that something was wrong with that election and maybe we needed to do something about it. And then came January 6. And that was a. I think that was a seminal point in America. I'm going to guarantee you, the decades from now we're going to be talking about that day and about its impact on the America political structure and upon our liberties and rights, or maybe our perceptions of liberties and rights. And these guys who are writing to the American public from within these prisons and gals are trying to get their story understood beyond this false narrative of lies. If I were to go into a courtroom and you presented me with a witness who said you know, I was talking to Joe and Joe said that he heard Mary say that John did this. Well, that's hearsay. It's not admissible as evidence. It's just something that somebody told you, that they heard from somebody. Some blah, blah. My first second cousin told my wife, but how about the person who actually was at the at the event, who witnessed it, who was maybe the participant or even the source of it? That is probably as close to the truth as you're going to ever get and that's what these letters that these guys are writing to their, their Patriots, supporters, were it was. It was pretty raw truth. This is why I went. You know, some people say God told me to go and I literally I've heard more than one people say I heard God tell me that this was the time to go. And then there's many people who just went because they were patriotic, they wanted to hear 45 speak, they wanted to hear Alex Jones, they wanted to hear all the people who were legally permitted to be around the Capitol that day.
Speaker 1:That's what I was going to say, tim. What about just our American right in general that we can show up and protest our grievance? The United States, you know, our capital that we subsidize, that's something that's you know. We have a friend of ours that he was filming was part of what Alex Jones crew was there when Ashley Babic got shot. He got wrapped up and all this stuff. The guy just. And what if I just wanted to be there? In general, that that and honestly I was half tempted. I grew up in Baltimore, so I grew up around that region of the country, was always going to DC as a young, as a young man. And what if I just wanted to show up? I never understood that. That the amount of people that, at the minimum, probably would have just got a basic more so breaking and entering, I mean if they wanted to do, you know, charge people with anything. How many people getting pulled up with the prison time that they are. It's insanity to me. It never made sense.
Speaker 5:Well, no, it's not going to ever make sense because it's not. Yeah, it's not based on fairness or justice, it's based on political bias and put in a political narrative that must be fulfilled in order for these people to hold, to continue To hold power. And, frankly, that's disastrous for the country. I don't think we can survive another four years of these types of policies, of these types of restrictions on liberty and actually this assault on the basic tenants of our constitutional rights. And that's again back to these letters. That's what these guys keep saying in their letters. Not only are they trying to tell you what happened to them, but they're going like oh my God, you're next. Listen, you just have no idea. You know if they can do it to me. I'm a war veteran, I'm a police officer, I'm a fireman, I'm a representative. For God's sakes, and you can do that to me just for showing up to do what I consider to be a constitutional, protected right to seek redress, to speak my mind, to assemble Now, so I guess you're. My answer to that is I don't think those rights. Those rights exist in our Constitution, they exist within the American spirit. They don't exist in the minds of those who feel that they are above common man because they feel only they are entitled to those rights and anybody who disagrees with their entitlement, well, you're not entitled anymore. Let me give you a clean example of how crazy this has gotten. I got veterans First of all. There's a very large percentage of veterans in the J6 defendants. Let's just get that right out there. Right now the number has gotten actually softer as they gather up more and more civilians. But in the original, in original encounters here, over 27% of the people arrested for January 6 are veterans. That's compare that to 7% of the US population are veterans. That's a pretty big number. That's like four times a number of you know the national population average and these people are the ones. Over 80% of those being incarcerated are veterans. So you can ask yourself questions about that. I'll just leave that there. But if you're a veteran and you're retired and you served and you were disabled or you were injured and you did everything you were supposed to do for your country when called to your duty, if you were a fireman, or if you were a retired worker and you paid FISA for your entire life and you're drawing Social Security, you're entitled to that check. You paid for it, you, as a veteran, you paid for it in blood and as a citizen, you may have paid for it in dollars, and the federal government is taking these, these benefits, away from these people before they're even convicted, seizing their Social Security funds and canceling them, leaving widows without money, taking away access to military veterans to medical care, see, stopping their their retirement benefits. This is, this is something we have. This is the type of pogrom Nobody in this country should ever be willing to sit still for. And yet you hear nothing about this for mainstream media, nothing, no, you don't?
Speaker 1:yeah, they just like to bring it up at this course. It seems it's, you know, like you know the terrorists in Syracuse is crazy to even see, like what just happened, you know, in Israel. What was it? October 7th, believes October 7th, right, and it's like you hear all the talk of terrorism, terrorism, terrorism. It's crazy for me to just draw the comparison, you know and that that's the kind of language they use for the J. You know January 6th and that's even watching the craziest of video footage from that day, which I still think is mild, doesn't amount to any of these things we see when you see around the world and they label it terrorism. I mean blows my mind how, how has the? How has the America Gulag Chronicles? How has that been received by people?
Speaker 5:It's very well. In fact. I, you know I we're heads down on trying to get message. We had two motives in creating the American Gulag Chronicles. After we, after we did our work on J6 patriot news and people started sending us their letters, which is how I got into this. I wrote a letter and got got a reply back from an American hero who's still in jail right now without trial, over two and a half years. And we started collecting these letters and posting them more and more and America started reading them and I think that helped people understand the reality of that day, understand exactly the mood that they went and how that dramatically changed once they were attacked and went into defense mode. And, by the way, that's what you would do if you're a veteran, you, you have battle experience. When you're attacked, you protect innocents, right, you go to the front of the line. You you encounter the, you you stand up or you stand at the point of conflict. That's what all these people have done. Now they're being charged with, you know, assaulting federal officers and use of a deadly weapon because you had a water bottle in your pocket. I mean the. The charges are outrageous, but the letters were necessary for these people to be able to talk to America and and in doing this I met an entire community of people like myself who would okay, I'm, you know, golf doesn't mean anything anymore because the country's on fire and I have children and I don't want to leave that to them. They came out of their lives, their normal lives, and entered disfraying man. It's just. These are, these are true American patriots on the outside of the bars. For now anyway, until the government decides we're a threat. I just tried to go visit a prisoner. Evidently I'm now on the BOP do not pass list, so I'm denied access to any of our prisoners as normal visitor. These are kind of authoritarian moves that I don't think any of us can ignore. They're Stalin-esque, they're Stasi, kicking in people's doors and putting their children at risk with loaded weapons and flashbangs and basically just shocking all so your neighbors can witness, you know and be fearful of you coming for them next. This is something that should never happen to you. It's a regime that has decided that authoritarianism has a higher purpose than the Republic, and the book is trying to tell you that inside this book and these letters. We published some of the letters and we also gave you a chance to see some of the letters. So you see the letter and then you can read the actual transcript of the letter. So you get an idea of what it looked like in their hands. And then you can read the actual transcript of the letter. So you get an idea of what it looked like in their hands and you can see. It's their words. They're uncensored, except for where there might be phone numbers or things of that nature, and they're trying to tell America a message. And that book was just one year. That went out in December of 2022. We put a copy of it in the hands of every member of Congress this year and the second book is coming out.
Speaker 1:That's a great idea. They should have a copy.
Speaker 5:Every single one of them got a copy. I'll show you pictures. Nancy Pelosi everybody got a copy.
Speaker 1:We had so incredibly great patriots who went and did that that leads up a great opportunity. I heard you just mentioned it. Let's talk about your second book that you have coming out, the American Gulaugh Chronicles series Art of Confinement. I built it correct, releasing it this summer Art of Confinement.
Speaker 5:People call me Furious Tim and when I wrote that, when I put that first book together, I don't want to say I wrote it because it's actually there. They wrote it. I just write the introductions and try and set the stage for their letters in time. When I wrote it I was incredibly angry at what was happening. What was being done to these citizens and patriots, what was happening in my country. With the overreach of government at all levels, bureaucracy has gone wild. That book had a little more militant flavor to it and it does. You can see I'm very angry and the letters are kind of angry too. They're trying to come to grips with a government that they feel has betrayed them. They went for patriotic purposes and they're being punished for being patriotic. It's difficult if you can imagine the horror was happening to your family while you were locked up, and they're being persecuted and threatened by BLM and Antifa.
Speaker 1:You're being lied again, as I said, you're saying they're being locked up for patriotism, but be wild to be labeled on them that they're a bunch of terrorists, which is insane. That's got to be an interesting thing that psychologically have to go through. You're sitting here locked down in a federal prison system, correct? Because I don't think it's DC, right, it's federal. Well, no.
Speaker 5:DC is federal. Yes, some are in federal, but remember, many of these who are in pretrial are being held in facilities that are not federal. The DC Gulag is not federal. It's operated by the DC Department of Corrections, which is directly I'm going to make this real clear it's under the control of the mayor, who is directly under control of Congress. All right, so Congress could do something about this if they wanted to, if they had the willpower, if they had the ability to stand up with a backbone and do something like MTG and Mauser and a couple of other people have done. You could make this go away, and not completely, but you could at least stop the harm, stop the persecution, stop the the loss of due process and freedoms and allow these people, like anybody else he's tried before misdemeanors, to go home and show up in court on their day of court, not hold them prisoners for two and a half years. Yes, so the second book, the second book and picks up where the first book left off. The first book covered the the year of September 2021 through September of 2022, and this book picks up from October of 2022 and takes you right up to last month, october 2023. Now I'll tell you that most people take years to produce the book. The patriots who volunteer the work to produce this book, to spend the time Transcribing these letters, to create the art, to, basically, we do our own publishing, we hand the printer a ready copy. These people don't take a penny. Every penny made from these books goes to our J6 nonprofit organization, where the money is redistributed to J6 defendants and Families to provide travel, to provide, keep them in their homes, keep their vehicles going, but and we have a huge Christmas drive that we do in conjunction with the Patriot Mail project that's Patriot Mail.
Speaker 1:Yeah, kids correct.
Speaker 5:That's right. You know this is our third year of doing this annual project through the Patriot Mail project and that's where you write to these prisoners. By the way, that's a whole session in itself to talk about those guys. They're heroes and they keep you connected to those prisoners, no matter where they move them. They track them, they provide the phone numbers, how to find their give send goes, they do updates on them and then we obviously we give you direct news at J6patriotnewscom on day-to-day auction and as the letters come in, we post those. But on this Christmas project this year we will have more children than ever. Last year we had, I believe, almost 70 children. This year we will have well over a hundred, as men and women have served their shorter sentences and are going home to penury. On some cases they've been bankrupted legally. They don't have any money. Now they're facing, you know, possibly no job and no income. They're going home to a family who's already in need and has no money. So this project is about children and families of J6 defendants and the money that's raised from your donations and from this 12 days of Christmas auction that we're sponsoring this year with all of the support groups together, all of that money will go to help these children, to help fund their Christmas project. You can go to patreon mail project, comm, click on the Christmas drive button and be an angel to a child. This year there are so many more in need than ever. We'll have well over a hundred hundred and twenty I think we're almost over a hundred now and we haven't passed Thanksgiving. So more children will be registering and more families will be registering as we get closer to the middle of December, and so this is a way for Americans to get involved. Always, always, always, people ask me what can I do? It's such a big fight I have. I'm just one person. Well, I'm just one person and I started with just writing one letter, and you can do the same thing. Just go to patreon mail project comm. Look for a prisoner from your state. We sort them eight ways to Sunday for you. Find one from your state right to them, tell them who you are, talk to them about your everyday life. They need a connection with reality because they are held in gulags that are basically isolating them from their social natures. They are Death.
Speaker 1:Yeah, what a way to boost morale to somebody that that's locked down like that. I, like I said, I can only imagine Psychologically what, what goes on in your head as you're going through that situation and you're obviously going to be upset, the frustrations, things going on our home, family finances.
Speaker 5:People have lost their families here. I mean they've lost why they've lost Relationships. I mean it's horrible, it's. I don't think America has seen anything like this, at least not in my lifetime, and I'm an old guy. It's really disturbing that more Americans aren't outraged, and I I see it.
Speaker 1:You know, tim, I just you know grow growing up, and especially so close to DC. I've seen so many things go on in DC over my childhood and into adulthood oh yeah, see somebody different protests go on around this country and I Still, as I said, I just it. It's never made sense to me how they've portrayed January 6 in comparison to any other thing that I've seen. I mean, shoot I. I remember seeing protests in Seattle. I feel like back in the the, the 90s, in late 2000s, that look crazier than than what I'd see, you know, on January 6, but it's just such a shame to see something like that. Could. Could you do me a favor, jane or Tim? Can you share with us any latest news or current stories about January 6?
Speaker 5:Yeah, well, I mean the current stories are. Let me see if I have a letter here.
Speaker 1:Yeah, why not?
Speaker 5:if I have one available, so Got some guys. You know some of them are showing up here in my home state, which is it's both disturbing and it's both encouraging. You know I'd love to go and visit them. The BOP doesn't think I should. The evidently they really don't want anybody to share information. The biggest thing I think, over and over again, out of all these letters that you're gonna hear, is Thank you for writing. Every single one of them. Over and over and over and over, they end in. You'd have no idea what your letter meant to me today. It turned my. I had a really crappy day. They serve garbage for breakfast and then I got your letter and everything turned around. Over and over again they talk about their children and their families and how, how deeply they miss them. But over throughout all of it, I never once find a letter that does not say and thank you so much for writing to me. So that should give you a clue of what's so important to these guys right now, what you can do. We can't storm the Bastille. You know we have to work constitutionally and within the political confines of our powers, but you can do something. So simple, so simple. What a stamp, an envelope, couple of pieces of paper. I have a drawer full here that I write, you know, and I keep copies of them. Some of these guys, I think I'm gonna write their biographies because we've been, can, we've been talking for two years and they tell the story of their Lives in their letters and when you get done reading them, you're going like the hell is this guy doing in jail? I mean, exact, I, I would have gone to church with him, I would have been hunting with them. Last year I would have, you know, met him at a rally. Why is this guy in jail? And nobody can answer that but this government. Who will be held accountable for it?
Speaker 1:I hope eventually the I've told different people across political spectrums that might not you know, you know Agree with people sentiments that showed up in DC on January, but I've always told them that they set a precedence with this, that for anybody that wants to go and Lay out their grievances to DC, I mean I was like to set a precedent. This is the way that the federal government can react. If you want to go and voice you know, voice up in in your capital, in your nation's capital that belongs to you. That's the scale, always been the scary thing for me, with all of it.
Speaker 5:I don't think, I Don't think everybody realizes how far it's gone. Do you realize it? Just they're gonna throw a guy in jail for seven years for for posting a meme about Hillary Clinton. Oh yeah, it's like.
Speaker 1:It's almost like watching Sesame Street as a kid. It's like which one of these things does not belong. I mean, it should be pretty obvious the people, of people, for some reason can't match it up. You know, it's like oh, terrorists, somebody protesting, I. I don't understand how they were able to achieve that and it makes me wonder Are we really that far gone that that is that easy to kind of sell these different narratives to the American public?
Speaker 5:Well, no, here's why in this can't be real. It's why you're on the air and your wife is on the air, and why I'm here today is because there are still avenues to get truth. I'd like everybody to go to stop hate in that easy. Stop hate. Calm and look at the documentaries out there that are done with these videos. Yet let the video speak for themselves. Try and put the narrative aside for a minute and just use your eyes and your brain and then watch what's happening in these videos. There's another one, a documentary, coming out and it's gonna blow your mind. It's called J6 the real timeline. It's gonna pop about the same time. Our book is available in December and we are taking pre-orders for book two right now. Speaker 8:Banks are supposed to be the safest placeholders for cash in the world, but in 2022 that changed. The Federal Reserve pulled out 2.5 trillion of liquidity out of the banks and the Fed also Changed the requirements, so banks don't need to keep any funds on hand. This means banks are starved for liquidity and have now become very dangerous places to hold your assets. Get out of the system with the world's safest and most private assets silver and gold. Speaker 1:Well, we're all seeing it in the grocery store, spending more on packages that are deceptively getting smaller. Daily caller reports Inflation remains elevated, as the Fed eyes last meeting of the year. Inflation decelerated in October but remains well above the Federal Reserve's target, with time left for one more interest rate hike before the end of the year, according to the latest Bureau of Labor Statistics release on Tuesday. We're all looking for ways to hedge and survive in Biden's economy, which brings me to our next guest, Joseph Lombardi, a dedicated financial services professional on a mission to secure the financial futures of his clients, families and businesses. Fueled by personal experience stemming from his father's loss of a $15 million construction company due to an accident and subsequent disability, Joseph is passionate about educating the contracting market on asset protection and preservation. With a vast network of trusted alliances with banks, law firms and accounting firms throughout the Northeast, Joseph provides clients with access to invaluable resources that might otherwise be unavailable. Joseph, welcome to the show.
Speaker 13:Thanks for having me.
Speaker 1:Or Joe, rather my apologies, doesn't matter.
Speaker 13:either way, joe or Joseph's fine.
Speaker 1:Gotcha. So let's start with your father's story that led you to what you do today. You might talk to us about that.
Speaker 13:Yeah, I mean, I was supposed to be a contractor. My father owned a multi-million dollar construction company. I was working with him since, pretty much, my parents divorced at four, so it was just me and him and we went to a job site in Greenwich, connecticut, a very wealthy town, and he was working with a lot of the multi-millionaires CEO Copcola, ceo of the NFL and he had me go downstairs and work with her. He was checking the job and I went downstairs with one of the guy's children and it was like Chuck E Cheese on steroids. So he had a baseball field, a basketball court, in his basement. So, to make a long story short, I got back in the truck and I go, what does that guy do? And he says, oh, that guy works on Wall Street. So that was like 11, 12 years old. I wanted to work on Wall.
Speaker 1:Street. So we're in a new era of wealth management. What is Ironhawk financial beneficial during these unique times?
Speaker 13:Yeah, I mean, I've been in business for 20 years and won 27 industry awards. I've 1600 clients, over a billion dollars of protection and rollovers. It's very important for people to understand. You know inflation is a big deal, interest rates are a big deal. More important, taxes are a big deal. So what I found is a lot of people don't have protection. My father didn't, so when he felt three stories off a ladder he lost his company. He didn't have it when she died at 52 years old. So it's a liver from life, from frozen liver, should know life insurance. And then when my grandmother had a stroke led to dementia, she lost $4 million of my grandfather's estate Marty Masonry to a nursing home. So if you fail the plan, your plan is to fail. And you know, working with Ironhawk financial allows my clients to save millions of dollars in taxes, leverage the retirement while they're still working by law in the market because it's liquid. It's very important to diversify three things. You ever heard of the term don't put all your eggs in one basket. Well, a lot of people put their eggs in a taxable ill liquid. You know high feed market type of asset. So when the market crashes, everybody loses. When taxes go up, everybody loses. When inflation and interest rates, everybody loses. Well, with my strategy, it's the opposite. So when taxes go up, you lose nothing. When the market goes down, you lose nothing. When interest rates and inflation go up, you actually make more money. So it's a paradigm shift. It's what the ultra wealthy do and I've been bringing it to the blue collar market this strategy for 20 years.
Speaker 1:So can you share the complete line of insurance options you have, from your life insurance to long term care?
Speaker 13:Yeah, so it basically comes down to two strategies. One strategy is being your own bank. That's a book I have on Amazon. My other strategies are a better way than a 401k. You know that's my other book on Amazon. I have a long term care book that will be out next week on Amazon and it's just about trying to diversify risk. A lot of people, especially in 2008, lost everything 2020, how many businesses failed. People didn't have that foundation set aside and it's so vitally important that when you have a family of a business, you have people that depend on you. You have to take five or 10% of what you are making and use that as a way to protect and build, to have that safety net. So having the be your own bank strategy is using an overfunded life insurance policy as an asset Very, very important. Forbes has a couple articles on it. If you want to Google it, it's called rich persons, roth and just type in Forbes. Really good information.
Speaker 1:I've heard that exact term the rich persons, roth, yeah, keep going on this. I'm very interested in this topic right here.
Speaker 13:Yeah, so I have millions of dollars in the strategy. What it allows my clients to do is invest money. You have two different ways of doing it. One way is where it's more guaranteed, so this is more for my older and wealthier clients. And then there's one that's more aggressive, like the guaranteed side. Over 30 years has been averaging about 9% tax free inside of the IUL. That's been averaging over 15% tax free and yes, I can prove it to in writing by 175 year old, triple A rated mutual insurance company. Right, people are looking for a safe place to put your money. Well, I would say the safest place, even besides gold and silver, to put your money is in insurance companies. People are like what are you talking about? Well, insurance companies have been around since 1848. They survived the Civil War, world War I, the Great Depression, world War II. So I have a lot of patriots dumping a lot of their money, actually cashing out their gold and silver and putting their money in strategies that are averaging double digits, some tax free and some taxable.
Speaker 1:You know, it's always amazing to me. You know, just even people that don't even understand their own benefits, their companies. I'm a manufacturing personally, I have, I have employees under me and I'm always amazed at what. I have employees that they're not even signed up for the benefits that they're getting. You know, they're not signed up for the 401k, let alone just even even though I know the industry standard these days is much to brag about, but they're not even signed up for whatever the percentage is that they're going to get, don't even realize they could take loans out against their own 401k. You know, because when you're sitting there making that kind of base entry level pay, I'm thinking, if something comes up, well, you know, I'm like you don't even have the 401k set up. I'm like we got to get you at least set up so you're grabbing at least what the company's going to match for you. You know. So you're talking about insurance. I know this is just another thing that a lot of people aren't knowledgeable about what. What sets ironhawk financial apart from other wealth management firms?
Speaker 13:Yeah. So what's different about me is I'm what you call a master broker. So I don't have select carriers. I have to sell to get my pension credits or to get a match in my 401k. I'm the owner. So instead of doing what's best for the company, which may not be the best for the client, I actually do what's best for the client and find the best carrier, the best rates. Only triple A rated companies. I use only carriers that have the highest rates of return, the longest longevity. I can confidently say I never lost a client a dollar and 20 years and never charged a client a dollar and 20 years. I'm a plus rated on the better business bureau. On five star rated on Google. I was recently chosen to be the top 40 advisor in the country under 40 years old to 100 INC magazine. You know my number one goal is to protect, so preservation of capital is a number one. People don't understand if I had $100 and I lost 50%, I have $50. But if I gained back the 50% I lost, what's 50% of 50? It's only 25. So if I gained 50 and lost 50, I'm still down 25. So this is a big misconception. So if I lost 50%, what's 100% of 50? Well, that's 50. 50 plus 50 is back to 100. So if I lost 50% and gained 100%, what did I make? Nothing? So people don't cover the downs. They put all their eggs in a high feed, high tax, illiquid, fully market adjusted asset. And what is their house aligned to? What is their business aligned to? What is their real estate, if they have real estate holdings aligned to? So they're all putting their money in an asset. That's all correlated. And so I diversify my clients. Taxation right 401ks are, in my opinion, one of the worst places to put your money. Why, well, you have 12 be one feet class A share fund fee, money manager fee, annual account fee. You're tied to the market. It's a liquid 59 and a half year rule, 10% penalty. If you're sued it could be taken. My assets in most states are sue proof, they're divorce proof, they're non disclosed on the FAFSA form. It doesn't disqualify your kids from grant scholarships, loan, trade, student loans, financial aid. If you get disabled, it's fully funded. If you die, there's a huge tax re-benefit to your family. You need long term care. You have access to hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, tax free. So what people don't understand is, when you buy a 401k and IRA, there's all these fees 12 be one class A share fund, money manager fee, annual account fee. What are those fees doing for you? Absolutely nothing. You're making some smucks payment on his Lamborghini in New York. Well, with my strategy, the fees are actually getting you something. You're either earning more contracts on the rollover into an FIA, a fixed index annuity, or you're buying insurance to protect your family and protect your business. So it's not even, in my opinion, the same ballpark. And wealthy people don't have qualified accounts. I'll tell you that right now. Well, the people don't have IRAs, they don't have 401ks, they use overfunded life insurance. They used fixed index annuities. So I said huh, if I want to do what the winners do, what's the quickest way to do it? Copy them. You heard even Trump on the thing is to bait you Hillary, right, he's Hillary's. Like you don't pay any taxes, trump he's like sure I don't. I use the same rules that you told me that your buddies use. You know your donors use, so what did?
Speaker 14:I do.
Speaker 13:I found out what all those rules were and I bring them to my clients. I bring them to business owners. I say I can open up a 412 plan, premium finance and deferred comp. Keyman, I could do the most crazy stuff you could ever think of Invest in something after tax. Have it come out to you tax free. There's some crazy things you can do if you know the rules. So specializing in IRS code section 7702 is something I've been doing for 20 years, saving my clients hundreds of millions of dollars, if not billions of dollars, in taxes by legally building your own tax free, liquid, non-market, correlated, sue-proof, divorce-proof bank.
Speaker 1:I like it. I guess the theme here is protection. You know, I wish, through our subsidized education system, that we were taught more about these things growing up, but unfortunately we're not. Unfortunately, most common men aren't, joe? That's about all the time we have. I do want to thank you for coming and joining us today. I want everyone to check out ironhawkfinancialcom and look more into Joe's company to protect yourself, your family, your wealth, as he said, sue-proof, divorce-proof, you name it. But thank you for joining us, joe.
Speaker 13:Thank you for having me. I appreciate your time All righty.
Speaker 1:All right coming up. We'll continue economic news with Dr Kurt Elliott. Now on the right side.
Speaker 6:I don't know if this country can be saved. The information war on any battlefield, on any physical battlefield that I have been on, has always been the most important component of war itself. So they were actually people in our government that were in the executive branch undermining the president of the United States without his knowledge. So that's basically an act of treason.
Speaker 7:Hi, this is Sean Morgan with an AMP Consumer Report. I'm here with Danny Rosenberg, a specialist in insurance, and Danny. A lot of people are worried about Bidenomics, about the situation with the economy, how volatile everything is, and they're curious about fixed indexed annuities. What are the advantages?
Speaker 9:So a lot of people are looking at fixed indexed annuities as a separate asset class. You don't have any downside risk, you don't have any downside volatility or capture or drawdowns, but you still get some of the upside and people will actually purchase annuities, for two basic reasons. The first is guaranteed income for life. So the only way you can really guarantee an income stream you cannot live is through pensions, through social security or annuity. The second reason people are interested in annuities is because they want what's called a protected growth strategy and again, you'll get some of the upside of the equity markets with no downside risk, no downside volatility, no drawdowns or corrections. So it actually acts as a separate asset class and is a great way to protect assets.
Speaker 7:Well, that's great and I know for a limited time you're offering free consultations for those who are seriously interested, so we'll put a link in the description below where people can book that consultation. Thank you for your time, danny.
Speaker 10:My employees and I are excited to announce it's our 20th anniversary and to celebrate we're bringing you a limited edition MyPillow the Giza Elegance MyPillow is made with the most amazing cotton Two inch pipe gusset, comes in four custom loft levels and it's machine-marchable and driable.

Speaker 10:With my 60-day money back guarantee, you have nothing to lose. Sweet World America. Now moon, the right side.
Speaker 1:Welcome back to the Counter Narrative. I'm John Scott, giving my wife a little extra time with the baby before her return. To continue our topic on the economy, the White House seems to think if they tell the American people the economy is doing great, they won't believe the high number on their receipts From Twitchy. Potus wants us to view Bidenomics through the eyes of the people in Scranton. In spite of the fact that vast majority of Americans polled no, bidenomics has been a disaster. Biden's account on X asked Americans not to look at the economy through the eyes of Wall Street, but rather through the eyes of the average folks in places like Scranton and elsewhere. So Newsmax did exactly that and tapped into what the people had to say in Scranton. What do you feel about our current president? He's okay.
Speaker 12:He needs to get the hell out of the White House. He's ruined this country. This country's in a hole.
Speaker 13:He's pretty much the kind of guy who should be a mirror of Scranton to the president of the United States.
Speaker 4:Would you like to see him do moving forward?
Speaker 7:I don't know. I would like to see him try again with student debt. I would like to see him work on our healthcare system. He's right in the country. That's cool.
Speaker 4:Yeah, have you seen some of the videos circling of him falling?
Speaker 14:I have seen those.
Speaker 4:Do you feel like he's maybe too old to be president?
Speaker 7:I think all the politicians are too old. We need young people in there.
Speaker 4:I want to ask you. He has said you're not black if you don't vote for me.
Speaker 3:And I thought to myself you about to find out.
Speaker 4:Does it worry you thinking that there could be a whole other four years with Biden as president?
Speaker 12:If he be a president again, I don't know what America going to be.
Speaker 1:Here to weigh in on the economic issues is our trusted advisor, dr Kurt Elliott. So even the people of Scranton don't seem to be buying into the economy, is that right, dr Kurt?
Speaker 14:Yeah, I mean, I think the only person in the world who thinks that Bidenomics works is Biden himself. So I saw a video of him in Northfield, minnesota I think it was last week, maybe it was the week before and he was just all eight people that were there clapping for him and said you know what? Bidenomics is great for America? We've got more people working, we're winning the battle against inflation. It's like what More people working? No, there's not and no, you're not winning the battle on inflation. So here's where they've got Janet Yellen and Jerome Powell at the Fed saying we have won this war on inflation. We're going to pause interest rates. Well, what they did is they paused interest rates at this high level and now we've got high interest rates for a while. If they were winning the war on inflation, they would be able to lower interest rates, not pause them at high levels. So you know, who else doesn't think that Bidenomics is working Is Citibank. So Citibank, third largest bank in America. You've got JPMorgan Chase, bank of America and then Citibank. Project Bora Bora is an internal document that the CEO of Citibank came out with last week and disclosed it to the whole world. They're laying off 10% of its workforce. See, here's the crazy thing Citibank has 240,000 employees. That's 24,000 people being laid off. That's the largest layoff in Wall Street history. So if the economy were really good, like Biden is saying it is, then why would they be laying off a bank, 10% of its workforce 24,000 people? It's because they're in financial trouble. Right? Banks are in financial trouble, capitalization crisis all over the country, more withdrawals than deposits. That's why banks fail. I'm so sorry I'm going to about the sneeze, but that's why banks fail. And so they're preemptively saying we are going to actually just lay people off because we know what's coming under Biden's economic plan for America.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it sure seems that way at the grocery store. I do most of the grocery shopping for the family and just seeing the difference just over the past two years alone has just been insane. From COVID on, and prices of meat, prices of vegetables, prices of normal things you normally would have get that were cheaper, and that's the main thing. I feel like that I keep hearing out of a lot of people that I talk to, food or rent prices. Rent just keeps going up, especially where we are in Austin. Me and my wife were joking even about credit cards. There was an offer that came in the mail and it's like oh, we got this great deal. And even if you have excellent credit, it's like now, 19% on a credit card, 20%, you know well, 20s is considered a good interest rate. It's pretty insane the direction it's going.
Speaker 14:It is really bad and see when we've now coming up on the end of the year, where retailers make the vast majority of their income for the whole year. Literally 80% of most of retailers in America make that. Well, actually not all retailers in America make 80% of the revenue from Black Friday to Christmas. That's huge in one month. So you would think that places like Amazon or Best Buy or Costco or Walmart that are shipping stuff out you would think, oh man, they're going to be ordering cardboard boxes. So I've been following this crazy little indicator, which is cardboard box sales. They're down 80% 80. What does that tell us? It tells us that these big e-commerce retailers aren't expecting to ship anything during the holiday season. If they don't ship anything during the holiday season, what comes in January? Layoffs. What comes after layoffs? Bankruptcies, right. So, moving into 2024, an election year, here's the problem that I see for America. We've got massive layoffs, probably more bankruptcies, delinquencies on, basically, payments. So banks are having to lay people off because they know that there's economic trouble ahead and they've got to cut their expenses. So here's the problem Election year. Politicians, I hate to say it, but overall, it's true, I'm sure you'll find some good ones here and there, but overall, politicians stopped viewing people as people a long time ago. They viewed people as votes. So in an election year they will offer whatever they can to get a vote and come January we lose our reserve currency status. We lose our petrodollar status to the BRICS nations, because six of the nine largest oil producers in the world start with BRICS come January 1st With no demand for our dollar. They're going to be forced to print their way out of all of this mayhem, which will cause more inflation. So the stuff you're seeing at the grocery store when you go grocery shopping, it's going to get worse and marketers are really good at tricking people, right. So I mean, I don't go to the grocery store that often, but my wife does, and what I see having teenagers in the house is cereal boxes, right. So you see this big box of like honeycomb and you open it up and it's like what? It's only half full, right, and that's brand new. It's like there's shrink flation is what I call it. And like you see the cans of tuna, the cans of green chilies, they're a third half empty, but the box is still the same size, the can is still the same size.
Speaker 1:Speaking of that, dr Kurt, I just read an article recently actually today about Oreo putting less frosting in the Oreo cookies. Now, I had worked for Smuckers and then turned Pillsbury because Smuckers owned Pillsbury at the time for years. So I was in food manufacturing for a long time and I felt the food industry does a lot of similar thing. As far as fillers, they use a lot of cellulose, which might as well just be wood pulp, if you want my own personal opinion, just to thin out the product. You've got to still put out the same product while at the same time. It's going to be interesting seeing where that goes forward.
Speaker 14:It is, I mean, and what this hurts is consumers. It hurts Americans when you've got higher prices already, because they're printing money to fund every stimulus under the sun that causes inflation. How do they slow down inflation? By raising interest rates. So I don't believe for a second that the pause that we're going to see on interest rates is going to last for very long. I think ultimately they've got to raise rates, and when most of America is living at the margin right now, can't afford to pay their rent, pay their mortgage, pay their utilities, feed their family the way they want, it's going to get worse. But here's where the solution comes in. We can't change politics that quickly, right, but what we can do is take action on our own and financially, this is what we thrive in at. Our firm is taking these problems and creating opportunity out of them, because all of these things are going to cause stocks, bonds, mutual funds to come down as people spend less because they just can't spend. There's not enough money there, but those exact fundamentals that cause stocks, bonds, mutual funds to come down, which are unsustainable debt, inflationary pressures, political chaos, geopolitical conflict cause gold and silver to go up. So, in all of this economic news that we're seeing. That looks really bad. I don't want people to ever walk away from this show, encounter narrative and say, look, we got to put our head in the sand, there is no solution. No, we're just talking about the news, identifying it so we can craft a solution where you can thrive. Most repressive metals come into a person's portfolio right now.
Speaker 1:No, it's so important to have a hedge against economic disaster, especially to diversify things. Can you tell us a little more, Dr Kurt?
Speaker 14:Yeah. So to me, when you look at what works and what doesn't, every investment that we ever have is either going to grow or shrink because a policy is coming out of DC. So you look back to the Trump years. You know, on that video on Scranton that you had shown, people were saying do you think the economy is better now or do you think it was better during Trump? It's like they all said Trump right. So here's what were the policies during Trump? Lowering taxes, lowering interest rates and creating jobs. What were the policies under President Reagan Lowering taxes, lowering interest rates, creating jobs Very exact same policies and growth economies during both of those presidencies. What do we have now? We've got raising taxes, rising interest rates to slow down inflation that they're creating and they're not creating jobs. They're actually wage shrinkage. So when you add all that together, what worked in the past doesn't work in the present, and so. But what I don't want people to do is hear all of this that you and I are talking about and say, man, those two guys, they're talking about this horrible stuff and it's scaring me, and I'm going to put my head in the sand and just pray that the storm goes away. I don't know if the storm is going away. But what we can do is act accordingly with the wisdom that God gives us, right, the boldness, the courage, the understanding, the discernment. Allocate accordingly for the times that we're living in, and then you can thrive, then you can have a smile on your face. So I would encourage people to just act. As amazing as God is, he's incredible. You can do anything. He's got right. He can't steer a parked car Nobody can. So it's like he wants us to act. He wants us to step out in faith and at least be moving, because then he can course correct and get us on the right path. But he wants us to decide, so we can step out in faith. That's where he becomes strong and we become weak. That's exactly where we want it is. To take that leap of faith. Do something you haven't done before. Look into precious metals if you're used to stocksponds mutual funds and just watch how your financial anxiety starts to melt away over time.
Speaker 1:I just think that's a great note to close on. It is great having you, Dr Kurt. It's so important again to hedge against the economic disaster with tangible assets. Please go to KurtEliotPhDcom slash KL. Remember that's two L's and two T's. Kurteliotphdcom slash KL for a free evaluation.
Speaker 14:Thank you so much.
Speaker 1:You're very welcome. And now to cut to the scripture of the day, matthew 24.4,. And Jesus answered and said unto them Take heed that no man deceiveth you. I'd like to thank everyone again for watching and don't forget to share the counter narrative. You'll see me, john Scott, again as I'm filling in for my wife, so we could bond with this gift of God, this little child of ours. Thank you for watching.
